In the Philippines respect is shown in so many simple ways. I really think it is beautiful.
One way Filipinos show respect is by asking for blessing from elders. This is done by taking a hand and placing it against your forehead in an act called "Amin (bisaya)" or "Mano Po (Tagalog)"
My brother was visiting me in the Philippines... I just wanted to share this beautiful part of the culture here with my brother and his friend. Really beautiful when the kids started blessing them!
