We found some amazing street food in Mexico today at street vendors and markets in Mexico (Guanajuato to be specific.) Not only is it cheaper to eat from Mexican street vendors, but it’s often even tastier than sit-down restaurants! We’re hooked!

In this video, you’ll see how much food can you buy for $5 in Mexico, what you can buy at a mercado, and what can you buy from a street vendor in Mexico. Living on $5 in Mexico is pretty fun when you’re hunting for street food! As it turns out, there’s a lot of food in Mexico for $5. And more specifically, a lot of cheap food in Guanajuato.

In January 2018, we sold everything we owned in the US (except our husky Laska & what fit in our tiny, tangerine Prius C3) to travel the world—starting with Mexico. Since then, we've been making travel videos about our life in Mexico and the new experiences we encounter while traveling the world.
