IAKWE (HELLO) FROM THE MARSHALL ISLANDS Life is wonderful out here in country #157!
It was already expected that the Marshall Islands would be absolutely stunning (and it certainly is)... but it was unexpected how AMERICAN it feels here!
- They use U.S. dollars.
- They speak (American) English.
- They play basketball.
- They drink Bud Light.
- They use miles and Fahrenheit and feet.
I haven't been home in 6+ months and it is so amazing (and refreshing) to experience this "home" feeling in the middle of the Pacific Ocean - the Marshall Islands!

Just curious -- how many of my American friends had no idea about this? We all know of Hawaii and Guam, but did you honestly know about the Marshall Islands? Comment your thoughts below!
