Maho Beach & Philipsburg, St Maarten | Must Do Travels
St Maarten is definitely open for business, and the crew at Must Do Travels had a fun time exploring this tiny, yet adventure packed island.
We walked all over Philipsburg, and hired a taxi to take us around the island. We eventually stopped at the world famous Maho Beach and hung out for hours watching the planes come in to land at the Princess Juliana International Airport.
There are still some signs of damage from Hurricane Irma scattered across the island, with a lot of construction back underway. Almost all of the tourist facilities have been repaired, and are back in working order. Now is a great time to go, as there are slightly less tourists there than usual, and the locals are among the friendliest people you could meet in the entire world.
