Today we are having lunch and coffee with Jerry Brown Travels in Ajijic, Mexico on the shores of Lake Chapala. We share some of our ideas about moving to Mexico and retiring in Mexico.

Jerry and Lori give us their insight on the countries they have traveled to and why Ajijic was right for them as expats. If you're considering becoming an expat or have looked into retirement abroad, we think that you should seriously consider looking into living in Mexico, specifically the Lake Chapala area, where Jerry Brown Travels is living.

There's a lot of advantages to retire in Mexico, so expatriation can be a real consideration! If you're looking into Mexico, there are a lot of Americans in Mexico and they're not just limited to the Lake Chapala and Ajijic area, they're all over the place!

Choose some places that seem like they'd be a good fit for you, travel there, check them out, and make your decision on whether or not to live in Mexico.

In January 2018, we sold everything we owned in the US (except our husky Laska & what fit in our tiny, tangerine Prius C3) to travel the world—starting with Mexico. Since then, we've been making travel videos about our life in Mexico and the new experiences we encounter while traveling the world.
