Samae San Island is one of the best islands in Thailand. The island is under the control of the Royal Thai Navy and is uninhabited. Formerly there was a fishing village on Samae San Island, but it was vacated and the island is now is under the control of the Royal Thai Navy. We had a great day visiting Koh Samae San, but just remember if you are planning on going you must be with a Thai national and get there early to be one of the 300 who is allowed on the island each day.
