We spent 2 weeks travelling around Japan. It was my second time in the country and Jaime's first, so we came up with an itinerary that hit some of the classic spots as well as checking out some places away from the big cities.

In this first half of our trip we:
- spend a day exploring Tokyo

- visited the old village of Shirakawa-go
- hiked a section of the Nakasendo trail
